I set up OsCommerce a while ago and have had great success after alot of funky fixes and customization, The only remaining funky problem is that I can't figure out how to add Brokerage fees for Canadian orders (my store is in the U.S.)

I am looking everywhere and so far I haven't found any answers in the oscommerce contribs (even the canadian tax module didn't cover it) and I have asked a few times in thier forums but no answers.

I am guessing there has to be a good number of OsCommerce users based in the U.S. (like me) that are selling to Canada and adding on the brokerage fees with success.

Any help appreciated Thanks!

When you say brokerage fees are you saying that you ship the item to the client, duties, taxes and customs brokerage paid for?

Our shop is in the US also and when we ship internationally the client pays us the product + shipping charge at time of order and they are responsible for all other charges that are levied on them at time of entry.

We'll provide the copies of the pertinent paperwork.

I am not sure whether these fess are fixed or percentage based but try using zone specific handling charge / or tax named appropriatly.
