AIM you need an SSL cert on your server and the user doesn't leave your site to complete the transaction. With SIM your form posts to Authorize.net's site to complete the transaction and then returns to your site (if that's what you want)
Many carts, forums, etc. have the interface built-in, otherwise their API and documentation are pretty clear.
Hope this helps.

If you know anything about http requests with ASP or Cold Fusion or similar language you should be just fine. And as previously stated there are tons of shopping carts that work with it.
You can get an authorizenet/merchant account with no credit check, but you'll be capped at a certain monthly amount, around 6G.
Besides Authorize.net is there any other merchant accounts which offer services without credit checks or tax returns, etc.?
I am a new business with zero credit rating under this business name. (Lots under a different business name.) I plan to sell my own eBooks online.
Also these merchant services would have to accept any type of eBook.
Thank you.
