When you're logged into paypal, hit the 'Send Money' tab.

At that page it'll ask you for a bit of info.. enter it and continue. The following page will show the details of the transaction, including "Source of Funds". Hit the 'More funding options' link and it'll forward you to the other options you have, including eCheck.

I have a checking account on-file, so I am seeing eCheck. Depending on if you have verified a checking account you may or may not see eCheck as an option.

Hope this helps :)

Yeah, it helps! Thanks. I didn't see the echeck option yet, I have not confirmed my account. I will wait till it confirmed! Thanks again.

Yeah, I saw eCheck now!

Do I need to have any paper checks in my hand before I can send an eCheck?

ok I have tried myself and send 10 cents out. The answer is, I don't need any paper check. "eCheck" is merely 2 transactions - 1. Transfer from my bank account to PayPal, 2. Transfer from PayPal to receiver.

Money is so easily transfer in and our of bank account. Is PayPal really SAFE?

I think eCheck is just a term meaning you send money on the internet using an electronic check with the money in your bank. It has nothing to do with whether you have a checkbook or not.

I receive paypal echeck regularly. It is a good alternative for people who do not have credit card to buy things online. Bad thing about it is even though paypal withdraws the money instantly from your bank account, it still takes days to clear the echeck. I wonder why, they have already got the money, why make everyone wait so long?

No, actually PayPal didn't get the money instantly, they make an ACH transfer that take 3-5 days to complete. Once they get the money transfer into their PayPal account, then then send the money to the receiver.

There is a new "instant" pay where you can pay instantly even your PayPal has no fund as long as there are "backup" - credit card, 2nd bank account ... but I did't try it before.

Yeah PayPal is pretty safe. I've recieved over 800 payments and only had 1 or 2 problems in the past. We sell a lot of stuff on eBay and PayPal definately helps out. Glad to hear you got your eCheck working :)
