Im looking for an easy way to populate the OSC with product details and pictures.
Im sure it can be done but I dont know how.

Have you tried the OS commerce forums? Also there is an easy-populate contribution for it, though I haven't tried it myself. Maybe I should have because I'm just using OS commerce to build another shop, and some of my products come in 18 colours of one type, 7 colours of another, and 15 sizes! It's taking ages...

You can also do this uploading directly to the DB. Below are the tables we update for products. If you have additional functions for products, you may need to modify more tales:
products products_to_categories products_description products_attributes ** if needed

there is a contribution called easy populate, it has saved me hours and hours :)

I have to agree the forum for oscommerce is a magical thing with all those contribution that make you pinpoint accurate to the detail. Dam oscommerce is the best in my Opinion. Type in that key word under the contribution section of oscommerce, and whaalaa you have it.
