I'm a Paid Search Junkie

Need feedback on alternatives: Yahoo, Shopping.com, Bizrate

I've tweaked, optimized, and reoptimized my PPC campaigns on Adwords & OV past the point of diminishing returns. Now I am looking for alternative means of fueling traffic that converts. My site sells B2C products in a competitive (but narrow) niche.

I've recently tried a bunch of second-tier paid search networks, but they are not generating enough traffic. I also just sent my first Froogle feed.

Here are some alternatives I have been researching. I'd appreciate hearing your insights/experiences with these options, or any ideas for other alternatives:

1. Yahoo! Paid Inclusion. $299 to get listed in Yahoo!, which does not currently have me listed.
2. Yahoo! Product Submit. Product feed into shopping.yahoo.com.
3. Shopping.com (formerly Dealtime?) product feed.
4. Bizrate product feed.

Opinions?

1. Yahoo! Paid Inclusion. $299 to get listed in Yahoo!, which does not currently have me listed.

Worthless (unless you want the PR)

2. Yahoo! Product Submit. Product feed into shopping.yahoo.com.

Worthless on any account

3. Shopping.com (formerly Dealtime?) product feed.

This works well for the right products. Test it.

4. Bizrate product feed.

Dittp from above, test it.

You will also want to look into PFI with INK, pricegrabber.com, nextag.com and there is a new one launching called priceflo.com.

Great feedback, hannamyluv! Thanks.

I am putting together the product feed for Shopping.com right now. I'll check into the other services you mentioned...they were not on my list, so I appreciate the tip.

I been doing good business for last 4 years with a steady income. My main traffic was coming from my others sites and Google, Overture and looksmart and froogle.
Since i'm looking for alternative resource I think I will go with shopping.com and bizrate. I dont know that much about bizrate, how does it work?

I have used both Shopping.com and BizRate.com for about 9 months, and am happy with both. Each have their pros and cons, but one problem I have with both is that I cannot find a way to "pause" the ads I have with either when I am in the midst of a price change/update. Otherwise, they seem to return valid hits and fair conversion, (at least when my prices are competitive with my competitors).

When my prices are out of line, conversion goes to 0 which is what one would expect.
