I am needing to set up a small site that will have about 30 info pages and maybe a bulletin board, and it is also going to sell 2 or 3 different items. I have been looking for a hosting solution that has everything I need, but not too much.

I have built many a site with OSCommerce, but I don't need that much "stuff" with my shopping cart system. I do want a good cart with secure ordering that can take credit card payments (I currently have no merchant account). I looked at ecommercemonster.com, but that is a $80/ a month - a bit steep for me at this point I am thinking, particualrly with the large upfront costs.

Can anyone recommend an inclusive ecommerce hosting/processing package that doesn't cost too much?

use paypal or fork up the cash for ssl, merchant account, and ccg. I would look at yahoo also, as much as I hate ever having hosted with them, they do have a decent merchant accounr, like $40/month with php, perl, mysql. They have some simple options for selling products, and you dont have to tweak a bunch of code to keep your site looking like yours for checkouts (i.e. oscommerce).

Yahoo's Merchant Solutions... Use your own web pages, add snippet for 'buy' buttons, secure e-commerce, integrated signup for merchant account, hosting (200GB bandwidth), email, and statistics: $39.95/mo, 1.5% transaction fee.

Also worth looking at romancart. Again you just add the "buy now" button to your pages. You can link it up with some merchant accounts for a fee.
