You mean cement mixers or diggers? Ive always thought that items this big woulnt just sell straight from teh web youd have to have a relationship with the buyer before they bought.

After all they are not just buying a high ticket item this piece of equipment is a cog in their business.

I do marketing for a client that sells big ticket items for restaurants. Most of his sales are $5k or above, in some cases they're $20 or $30k.

Your clients will want to talk with you, but they're definitely researching online. The key is knowing your product. Clients want to feel they can turn to you for followup questions and support. It's possible if you aren't familiar with the biz that you could team up with an independent broker, manufacturer, or sales person. You invest and manage the website in exchange for part commission on each sale.

The best way to find out if folks are looking to buy a product online is to do some SEO research. Are people searching for those items? What's your competition?
