Does anybody know of a good shopping cart that takes the customer only a click or two to complete their order?

There are plenty of shopping cart software systems out there which should offer this kind of functionality. I have an account with ekmpowershop which allows this, all you need to do is go into the Custom Checkout fields and enable Quick Checkout then its just a case of adding items into the shopping cart and then clicking 'checkout' and entering your billing details so its like 2 clicks once the customer wants to purchase.

I agree with Woody as far as the two clicks. Unless you only have one product, it's hard to have 1 click and still show the cart that customers can add to.

As far as the simplest solution, you may want to look at the Yahoo Store (Merchant Solutions). Just place a 'buy' button next to each product on your site.

Upon hitting the 'buy' button, the product is added to the cart/checkout screen where the buyer can see what is in the cart then hit 'continue shopping' for more product purchases or 'checkout.' If they hit 'checkout,' they proceed to the final shipping address/cc pages and they're finished.

This is two clicks to the shipping address/cc pages, but friendlier than requiring up-front logins, zip codes, etc.

I use osCommerce and like it very well. There is also Zen Cart.
