fraud and hong kong

does anyone have the same sort of fraud problems with orders from hong kong as they have with say indonesia or russia? does anyone know of a way to run a name / address / phone number check for people in hong kong? i can't get a match using the hong kong white pages, is there another way?

Hi Crazy_Fool, do you have too many orders to be able to feasibly email each customer and ask for 2 references with phone numbers? I had some Indonesian fraud orders and checked them out before shipping. Spared one of our companies about $1200.00 loss.

no, it's only the one order through a client, not through me. i was just curious as i've never seen an order from hong kong and couldnt get any info from their white pages system.
