I've been looking around at some ecommerce solutions for my online store. We sell a bulk-load of products, and it's very difficult keeping up with everything from product changes/uploads, coupon codes, order stages, product availability, reports, traffic logs....the works (and much more).

What's the best solution(s) out there? When I enivision a 'great solution' ideally i think about amazon.com and how their site as run. but obviously something a step below will suffice...

i'm sure some of you use GREAT packages...this forum is so helpful and intelligent (and experienced)

I don't think there's an out of the box solution that will fit your needs. Your best bet is to find a platform that's open source and can be built upon.

If your interested in a soltion that's as good on the backend as the fonr then I can recommend Interchnage. I have maby clients who use it and find that they can do anything with it, just takes a litle imagination and money for customisation.

You don't mention what packages you have looked but oscommerce is quite powerful and there are plenty of mods that can be added on to get features that may not be included in the basice package. Once the additional features are added you would have what you need. Your host should be able to provide you with additional traffic logs.
