I have a client that uses mals-e for their cart. Lately (could have always been this way, I don't know) when customers place an order a security warning comes up stating that the certificate does not match the name of the site. What exactly does that mean? I know it's about an SSL certificate, but that's all I know.

How can I get rid of this warning?

Thanks!

Did you change hosts or servers or domains?

The certificate is registered to 'site A' but is trying to be used on 'site B'.

no we didn't change anything. however, we don't have a certificate...do we need one,and would it work in this situation since our customers are sent to the mals-e site to complete the purchase?

> certificate does not match the name of the site.

Are you utilizing frames? Is the domain name exactly the same as the name on the security certificate? Do you have secure content (https) mixed with non-secure (http) content served on the same page?
