My client wants to setup the payment processing ( like ibill.com) for Asia region - China, Japan, Taiwan.
We have developed such system for the US market, but have no experiene in Asia..
Does anybody have experience of setuping the payment solution for Asia Specific site???
Do you have to have something like Merchant Accout ( as the site owner)??
How do the companies send you the payments - checks, wire transfers, other ( when you are in Asia)??
What are the local players there????

I haven't been involved in any Asian Payent solutions personally, however a collegue has set up a solution for an Australian Law company using WorldPay which seems to be working quiet well. In the process he was intouch with the Singapore office quite a lot who were very helpfull. I would imagine this may be one solution for you.
The only challenge I can forsee is with countries, China comes to mind, which restrict access to International CC's and therefor won't be able to buy product on the net. Otherwise, I cannot see any major challenge that could not be overcome.
