Large numbers of fraud orders this month

Is it just me, or is there a large number of fraudulent orders for this month? Our stats increased from 2-3% to 15-20% just for July. Mostly CC that has invalid AVS. Anyone else experience this? Oh, and its within US too..

Hmm... that's interesting my fraud orders went way down. If I may ask, what type of industry is your business?

I'm getting lots of them, 5/10 a day compare to 0/day in last month. Either a group is targeting me or its just general.

When this does occur, it is usually a group. Last year, we had more than 20 orders within a few days from the UK, all using different credit cards for shipment to different addresses. The only thing which gave them away was that they were all ordering the same product, and were using mail.com usa.com or europe.net as their e-mail addresses.

We lost 2 orders before discovering this. We promptly reported this matter to the London Metropolitan Police who didn't care and didn't so a thing about it.

Right now, we are being targeted by a group from Vietnam but we haven't shipped anything yet.

Hmm, well in my case its different. Some were from other states but are within US. Mostly Zipcodes not matching thru AVS, then when I ask for a different address they just don't respond. Some have shipping and billing different, with 24 /hour shipping then when I ask for the cvc they don't respond.. etc.

From now on I just don't ship if zip is wrong (avs), period. I also don't ship if its a PO-Box (I got several orders that was add. on a PO-Box as well). Not that its fraud 100% but I don't think its worth the risk for my part.

Hmmm, I would never ship to Vietnam or any countries below if you value your business.
We get perhaps 3 or 4 (no data matches) a month and we just wait for the chargeback and do not ship the goods under any circumstances

Africa, Romania, Nigeria, Indonesia, Russia, Malaysia and Slovenia
