You can set up the same printing method as cafepress for under £800 and that should tell you something about the quality! CP is actually a dye-sub method onto polyester, thats why they can't 'print' on black shirts (for that you need cotton transfers for an inkjet/laser)
I went back looking into 99 and CP again. I purchased one test shirt from each company and it turned out the 99's shirts lasted longer and were of better quality, so I have decided to go with 99.
