Authorize.net problems

We have been using Authorize.net for real time authorization/capture on our website for over a year, and we are experiencing a lot of problems lately with them. A significant percentage of transactions were declinced even with matching AVS/CVV. They keep on telling us that it is the banks which are returning decline code. But we know that it is not true. We have done some manual processing using their virtual terminal, the card would get declinced for the first few times and then went through with the exact same card and information.

Anyone are experiencing problems with Authorize.net lately? The problem seem to appear after their most recent major update.

I am just singing my merchant account contracts for Authorize.net. I hope I don't run into these problems.

We've been getting far too many declines on Authorize.net this past week. Half of those are CVV2 mismatches, though. That had be concerned since a couple seemed to be the right number after all. At least a different instance helped me screen out a bad customer before we went and shipped the items.

As far as the regular declines go, well, we always seem to have one week when we get many of those, but I could swear that usually hit the 2nd week of the month...

Authorize.net has been clearing transactions as normal for me this week.
