Hello,

Does anyone know how to create a "People who purchased this product also purchased ****"? Is this some type of script attached to the shopping cart? Do I have to update this information manually?

Thanks

Is your site home grown or does it use a pre existing script?
Products also purchased is a feature of oscommerce for one so you might want to take a look at that code to get some ideas.

You might even consider switching to oscommerce. Its a great script, free and with plenty of support.

Funnily enough, I actually had this on my site, but decided that it didn't add any value to my customers so I removed it.

I suppose it gets better the more data you have, but generally speaking, you'll end up with a list of completely unrelated products.

FYI: The term you are talking about is Collaborative Filtering.

Hello,

My system uses Mal's Cart so whatever I do would probably have to be manual. Can you tell me if this feature is part of Zen-Cart? Is it automatic or does the webmaster need to manually update page to reflect the other items purchased?

Thanks!
