ebay editor kit variables

A little while ago I was playing around with the ebay editor kit, but never got around to inserting the code into one of my sites.

Now a client wants it and I cannot find, for the life of it, the variable name to set the description length. this was crucial to make the box narrower.

Could someone let me in on this one?

I found some that are not on the US site anymore on the .de one, but that particular one is missing (even though they still show examples with the narrow box!)

PS: what's in it for ebay to reduce the variables to a laughable minimum? The less customization, the less likely I would be to insert their code (=be an affiliate) - no?
