Well i've tried to figure out the oscommerce and have posted questions to the oscommerce forum with no luck.
Here is my situation
I just setup a merchant account. I have a picture gallery with thumbnails that link to pages of the larger image. I want to be able to have the customer click on the select and order now button on the bottom of the page then the product discription and price will be transfred to the shopping cart. The client can then shop more or checkout. Im not sure that the oscommers will let me do that Does anyone else have anyother suggestion

Kysmiley- this is going to be blunt, although it's not meant to be rude.

oscommerce is set-up for those tasks, and if you can't figure it out, most developers and other users won't help you. If you can't figure that out by yourself, you haven't seen the end of your troubles.

As to what you do from here... you can go back to the docs to try and figure out how to do it. Or, you can hire a developer to set up oscommerce for you. Failing that, I recommend you go with a hosted shopping cart such as Yahoo's which won't require technical knowledge on your part.

I hope that helps; good luck!
