How do you decide what payment to accept?

How do you decide what forms of payment and from which vendors (excluding credit card companies) that you will accept for your site?

Is there a matrix/listing of the different providers with possible pros vs cons?

It might sound obvious but I chose one that allows all forms of plastic payment.

I wouldnt use paypal for two reasons, I once had a Canaadian customer try 3 times to open an account and fail I nearly lost a $100US order through it.

Secondly, ALL my charge backs came via paypal, strange but true.
