CTR versus buy through ratio

I am trying to enter the world of e-book. I published site with google adwords.
The CTR from the start od the compain is 1%, the buy through ratio is 0.36( 1907 clicked , only 7 bought).

My question , how bad is it? I do not have any experience with ecommerce. What I should try to achieve. Now , I spent more on adwords , than geetting back.

First of all, you may want to try the adwords forum that's here.

Second, it really depands. Did you make money on that CTR and conversion rate? If you did, than it's good. If not, it's not good.

Read some of the stuff in the adwords forum. You can learn a lot about how to tighten up a CPC campaign.
