Weekends are always quiet but we usually end up with a handful of orders - 4 or 5. This weekend I noticed that out of 100 customers hitting the 'buy now' button none have completed their orders. This is out of around 400 uniques over the same period to the site as a whole. Our normal conversion rate is between 1% and 2%
We try and make the cart as simple as possible and it usually does the job, Ive checked that it is working Ok. I suppose it just mystifies me why so many people that are interested enough to go beyond just browsing end up not committing.
Do you get similar figures and if not what are you doing that we are not? Thanks in advance
