Ikobo issues and dynamic Paypal form

I have an Ikobo merchant account and take all my payments through this.
I havent had many payments over the past 2 weeks. A few customers have emailed me saying that they are now asked to provide a verification check, namely quote an amount of money debited from their credit card on their next statement. This makes it impossible to take instant payments with Ikobo, even customer with Internet banking have to wait several days for this debit amount to show up.
I have asked Ikobo if all customers now have to go through this verification check, as usual there is no response from Ikobo. They did their usual trick of making massive changes to the way their site operates without giving their merchants and notice.
Has anyone experinced a drop is saled from Ikobo? Any news about new verification checks?
Their online support is now "broken" not that it was any use before.

As a temporary measure I want to have a dynamic PayPal form so customers can pay by PayPal if they cant pay with Ikobo. I want a quick and easy form where I can get customers to enter in the product number, the price they are paying for the product, select from a drop down menu if they would like to add any additional items. The output of this form would send directly to PayPal as a regular PayPal form would.

Can anyone advise me on how i could do this, Could i use Javascript? I have browed the web looking for dynamic forms but they are all paid for shopping cart software, or PHP. I dont ahve experience with php.

Also with the new PayPal set-up where customers dont need to set up a PayPal account do they still have to go through the same verification checks before they place their order. As far as i know if you live outside the USA you have to fax off numerous documents before you can buy anything from PayPal.

If this is no longer the case I may go back to PayPal (are they still stealing money from their merchants).

Thanks

I have a commercial website and have a merchant account at iKobo. I had difficulties at first because I didn’t know what to do to integrate my website with iKobo. I have to tell you that every time I wanted help or any answer to my questions the customer service behaved very nice and was fast enough. I am happy with their service and I will continue to do business with them. I think you just had bad luck and that’s it. Let’s not generalize and say bad things about a company that has so much to offer to it’s customers. This is my opinion and I will keep it. You judge for yourself.

"with the new PayPal set-up where customers dont need to set up a PayPal account do they still have to go through the same verification checks before they place their order."
Yes, the new flow is identical to the old flow with respect to our risk models and verification requirements.

"As far as i know if you live outside the USA you have to fax off numerous documents before you can buy anything from PayPal."

But, no, non-US users need not fax any documents before they are able to spend. A small percentage of mostly non-US users will have to confirm their credit cards before spending (which involves finding a 4 digit code on thier credit statement or online statement).

It's always interesting to read reviews from all corners. *gogoflorist* may have good reason to feel bad about ikobo. I wonder sometimes why the companies themselves do not clear the air of misgivings (in this case ikobo).

Be that as it may, *gogoflorist* may try out stormpay, 2checkout, swiftpay among others. Alas, for us in India, not many options are available,..sigh...sigh..
