Cheap way of accepting credit cards online?

I have a site that sell a service for $40. I am curently using paypal for people to pay with their credit cards. The problem is that many of them don't have a Paypal acount, and having to sign up just to by my service is scaring many potential customers away. I need a way to accept credit card payments online with just typing the info on the screen, but all the services I've checked charge a lot of money. Do you know of any reliable, cheap service out there?

Buy cheap - buy twice. As the saying goes.

Use 2checkout.com they can 'do' subscriptions and are not really that expensive to use.

Paysystems/2Checkout/PayPal... Paysystems & 2Checkout have higher costs, but they don't require an account like PayPal.
