Lots of Californians are fraudsters

2Checkout doesn't exactly say that but that's what they mean anyway. Just received an order from a guy in California. This is what 2checkout says about the order -

High Risk Order Warning! Highest Risk State - This state has very high chargeback rates (>4%) when compared to other other US purchases through 2Checkout.com. 2Checkout.com recommends that you scrutinize this order very closely for possible fraud

California and a high risk state? Now that is news to me.

Out of the tens of thousands of orders I receive through 2CO, 30% or so have that warning. Nothing to get your panties bunched up about.

But for sure, those warnings are base don stats and you cant generalise stats on just everyone.
