I currently have a ecommerce website with all fixed pricing. To generate more sales I was considering changing over to all auction items. The profits would probably be much less but I feel the sales would increased based on bids etc...
Which is better fix or auction?
Is anybody currently using auction setup?

Personally, I'm more of the mindset of paying just a little more to buy it and have it sent to me than risk trying to win an auction. Who has the time? Online auctions was a novelty when it first became popular. Now, I think people just want their stuff.
Only exception I see is with unique or rare items with high demand.
