I just activated a 2CC account and now I'm trying to get it running.
The problem is, they seem to want you to upload your product specs to their db. Our main product is a customizable one, which there are way too many combinations to realistically have different item numbers and descriptions.
In the example code they give on their site, the item number is sent to them and they pull the product info from their db. I need to send the custom product info directly from the buy page.
Can it be done? Thanks for any advice.
I cannot speak on behalf of 2Checkout, but I will tell you what I do with our clients. Our shopping cart is fairly customizable, but in situations where the client needs something more robust, I recommend that the client gets OSCommerce and then a TPP-PRO account. Again, I am not certain, but I would presume that you can do something very similar with 2Checkout.
