Like to start a survey.

I own an ecommerce website for about 6 months now and I was wondering aside from search engines where can you find or get free traffic from to help with increase hits and visibility?

Well, if you do something cool like a free giveaway or a really good deal, some of the coupon sites will carry you.

Other than that, if you hit a milestone that is significant in your community or are doing something that the general public might be interested in, you could always try a press release or talking to the reporter for your local newspaper in charge of covering of what you do.

The media is your friend. You don't always have to go online for free traffic. :)
