Looking at Bizrates CPC, they are much more reasonable than Yahoo!'s are. Which do you feel provides better leads and conversions?

So far for us, Bizrate beats Y! out. But even Bizrate doen't bring in too many orders.

Really. I am surprised. We are trying to target shoppers, and you would think that shopping sites would be the right target.

I wonder what works in terms of online advertising anymore?

Shopping.com is about equal to bizrate.

I think the reason that we don't see alot of orders from there is because not that many people use them. I think many people still use a search engine to shop because they think (and rightly so) that there is more of a selection avaliable on the search engine rather than the shopping engine.

I agree.

Shopping.com - not much traffic, decent conversion.

Yahoo Product - A little more traffic, very poor conversion

To date, my postings on Yahoo shopping have been a waste of time.

The categorization and search engine they use is so poor that the only people who are finding my stuff are people pharming the store names lists.
