Although we have the normal email us button on every page we werent getting many qustions from customers.

Then I added a line under the products asking if they had any questions to click here, lol and behold the questions came flooding in.

Just goes to show how surfers want everything laid at their feet and wont go looking around a page for it.

Anybody have any other ideas to increase customer interaction?

Forum style-like feedback seems to do quite well. Where people can post their opinions about a product, trouble is you'd have to moderate it.

We have all the "Buy Now" buttons in one area giving customers the choice of buying 1 product, 3 at a discount or 6 at a greater discount. Above that we have a link to our contact form and it works really well. I think that people tend to use it more because it is quicker and easier to do, they don't need to wait for their email client to open, then start writing.

Below the main description of the product I have also put a link to a page detailing shipping information (timeframes / cost etc) and another to a page explaining the ordering process for those unfamiliar with it.

All this is kept within a clearly defined, easily seen area. I get many more customer enquiries from this site than from others which have more traffic, but don't point out information as plainly.
