Yes I know it has been handled before however, in my case I really would like to get your advice.

1. I am based in Europe (EU member)

2. I am starting a little online shop with a maximum of 10 products ranging in price of 10-15 euros, meaning the average purchase per customer might be 25 euros, so not a lot.... however I want a reliable and good 3rd party merchant account/gateway.......

3 I do want to keep cost reasonable (Worldpay might be to expensive....or are they open to negotiation about this).

4. What about Paysystems.... but can you accept payments over phone with them (ie. taking informaton carddetails/address details and input them myself)....

Please give me some advice I have been searching the net for days and going mental.......

thanks

Worldpay is a good choice and is relatively inexpensive. They also have a whole host of different options available when integrating into your site. Or, you could always go down the PayPal route?

How many orders are expecting per day?

What software is your store going to run on?

I would like to use Oscommerce, but really I do not have any idea yet how much items I will be selling....

That is the exciting part....

Well, and Worldpay is not that inexpensive, startup pack is 420 UK pounds (600-700 Euros)..... insane....
