According to ITN News, latest figures show that in the UK, 6 million women are now shopping online. (TV report only for the time being - can't find anything online to back it up.)

This includes the whole spectrum of ECommerce, including grocery shopping (Tesco used as the example on the story), Books, CDs, as well as clothes, gifts etc.

I don't know how they do it, given how unstable and slow the connections are. Imagine when connectivity improves.

I'm all for woman shopping online, at least then you don't have to follow them around the stores all day!

so, do they get together with all their friends then stare and scream at the computer screen? "EEk, that skirt would look amazing with your new shoes"

okay, my joke wasn't as good. :(

Nice stat jp - thanks.

I'm surprised at 6M but I can quite believe it - retail therapy available now at work and home :)

6 Million women online, but NOT one of 'em can decide if the colours right.
