well, sup people this is my first post here. im a desiger/programmer and i can basically design/program most of any sites out there. and i have a few ideas which i want to develope but i have the problem of not knowing **** about mainstream marketing which basically makes the ideas useless. so i'm here to learn more about marketing and perhaps build some partnerships with people who are marketing wizards ;) <snip> is my portfolio. anyhow, just wanted to let ya people know my situation and introduce myself, thanks!

Whenever I see <snip> here at WebmasterWorld, in my mind I see the video of Mike Tyson ripping Evander Holyfield's ear off with his teeth. It hurts.

So with that, welcome dreamache. There is a very varied cast here but the bend is not so much about traditional marketing and promotion. Having said that there will probably be about 60 posts behind me providing just what you were looking for.

I would spend time reading and encourage you to interact with members who may help put you in the right direction. And of course with your own background, it sounds like you will be a great resource for others.
