you can already do this by using the forum number in the search like so

/forum13/ php

don't know about setting as an option for the search or if it would help with load.

Thanks, that's what I needed. I just used Google with the inurl:webmasterworld.com/forum13 option for similar results, but your suggestion brings up more hits.

Would find "server load" in this forum.
