Message Too Old, No Replies

Not all responses get to the 'recent posts' page?

How come?

I have had a few posts moved to new thread which negates the recent post - at least to the one you think you posted to?

It used to be the case that very large, old threads with new postings were kept out of the recent threads. Not sure now though.

I also noticed the 'moved threads' scenario, but I can't recall if this one was moved or not (only so many posts stay in our My Threads area, 'ya know ;) ).

As for the one I 'think' I posted to - I posted this update to the Is Ad-Aware Dead?!? [webmasterworld.com] thread along with the newest url...

From what i know Admins have the option to "stealth" a thread from the Recent post list.
Not sure it moderators can do it though.

Hmmmmmm....that might explain some of the strange behaviours I've noticed happening from time-to-time. :o

Bouncing around 300 active threads a day here (400 if you consider private forums). Some of the lower quality threads do get removed from the active list.

There is another thread back a couple weeks about this in this forum.
