I've been here since early November and spent alot of time reading the tips offered and put them into effect. As mentioned many times it doesn't happen overnight but this little fish in the big sea is now tops in nearly every search phrase I wanted to cover in my industry. Doing the sites myself after someone turned me down back in July I've learned a great deal. You should have seen the first draft...LOL..If you wanna call it one.

I can't say the sites are splashing with all sorts of cool stuff but I've found it has provided some key elements many people were looking for by the looks of my email and new business etc. Thanks again Webmasterworld and I'll be sticking around to follow all the changes that seem to take place every day in this business.

Regards;)

Thanks HardwoodGuy.

Sometimes I don't know how we have any members left after the WebmasterWorld Effect. They come, they learn, they get rich and famous - no time left to post. lol

Congratulations, Ken!

all the changes that seem to take place every day in this business.

You can say that again! To wit:

 • March, 1991 - HTML first used at CERN.
 • June, 1993 - Web surpasses 100 sites.
 • January, 1996 - Web surpasses 100,000 sites.
 • January, 1999 - Internet Explorer surpasses Netscape market share.

Hehe. Brett that is so true. The list would be long if we were to name names. Pretty amazing.

Hi Shak:

Forgive me but what's "Boston" or in Boston? I'm just a little guy that does this stuff on the side for my business. I'll have to thank the guy that turned me down on building a site because it's become alot of fun and sure beats drinkin' hehe.

If you guys are interested here's how it went...I contacted a guy off the net that I've known for six years on various flooring related message boards. He is by by far the leader in web site development for the flooring industry. I said.."Hey John...I have $2,000 can you build me a site?" Long story short, he suggested going to Office Max or Depot, pick up some software and go through a server he has had great success with.

Okay...I come home and stick the CD in and said.."alrightie do your magic..." I still haven't read the manual..never did like reading that stuff. Alot of mistakes and hours involved as I've probably put at least three hours per day in it since July.

Oh, if they only had PC's when I was a youngin' Being 45 it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. I've been cruisin' the USA the last two weeks and hoped to get near "google city" to check things out so I'll see after the convention I'm attending in Vegas this week.

I had plannned on a few jobs personally in San Diego but they fell through. I should just return to Florida and get on with it. Trust me guys I'll be around for a long time because this stuff fascinates me.

Btw...this stat is amaizing! June, 1993 - Web surpasses 100 sites.

Thanks Again;)
