It's a labor of love. ;)
It's not a problem, we just fix those so it doesn't start an epidemic. To be honest, most times it's harmless and quite innocent, with people just having grown accustomed to posting that way in other places. That's how we keep the board informational and pleasant for everyone. It's mainly out of concern and consideration for the members, and there's no harm done.
On the same note, I also keep my eyes open for what I call "profile spamming." That's when there are posts that are attention-grabbers or clearly promotional, or in some cases void of content and/or raise more questions than give answers and are designed to get the profile site clicked on.
I make it a habit to look at profiles, mainly because I'm interested to know who people are and what they do. It's always interesting, and so many of our members have such wonderful sites.
Fortunately, percentage wise there's very little that needs attention, which is amazing considering the number of people. We've got a very dedicated team and a great bunch as members.
