I'm new. Looking to see if there are any discussions here about web multimedia, audio/video, webcasting, online audio/video, etc. etc.

If not, could a section be created?

There are post about such topics in several forums. Just depends on the focus. Most of it is in Website Technology Issues, but multimedia can bang over into browsers, graphics, asp, perl, and other webmasterworld forums. If you do a site search (at thge top of the page next to the WebmasterWorld logo), you can search for the topic you are interested in. If you can't find it start a new thread in a forum that would cover the topic.
