Well that didn't go to well. Ran into some software problems there that will take awhile to fix. So, the site index only has about the last 4k threads in it at the moment (month).

It's back in action with the largest index ever (65k pages). There are a few 404 links to the google forum since we split that forum earlier in the week. I will reindex this weekend.

Clearly, Brett, you need some software marketing help... You view this as a bug, while a true marketing guy would call it a feature:

NEW, IMPROVED Site Search! Leaner and meaner than our old site search, our new version delivers only the most recent and relevant results! Time spent searching the database has been cut by 70%, and, by avoiding the delivery of obsolete content, user browsing is 80% more efficient! The value is incredible - despite these impressive performance enhancements, the new version costs only 20% more!

When you get ready to sell this software, Brett, don't worry about a flaw or two - the spinmeisters of WebmasterWorld will turn those lemons into lemonade... ;)

Great Brett,

is it in anyway possible to add the month or possibly even the date of when the thread started in the search results? (I know you already have the year which is great).

thanks
