Automatic Threadcheck, when new post is posted.

Search trough forum to see if thread already exists.

Hope this is a good title ;)
Really hope you haven't convered this before, then i will be really embarrassed :)

I was just wondering if there would be any value if there was a automatic search trough the forum each time you start a new thread, and see if the title, och meta description matches any threads posted earlier?
Because, i am not sure, but i think many new users don't use the "Site search" the first time they post to see if there is already a thread discussing the topic.

So you present 3 possible threads that might have matched the title, and states something:
Have you looked at this threads?
Before the post goes online.

Because Brett posted about the Google problem earlier, and i think this would be somewhat of a value, especially for the new members.

Also on sidetopic:
Brett is it possible to send a Sticky to each new member that sign's up with a message saying
"welcome to WebmasterWorld, Username.
(Make sure to read paynt's welcome post [webmasterworld.com]) "

and some other threads that would be valuable for the first time user, i think this would also help when it comes to duplicate threads.
And a link to that post
