I just wanted to tell you all how much I like this place. I don't post much (as you can see very well by looking at the very little number under my name ;) ) but I lurk here almost daily, reading your posts.

I'm not a web design or IT professional, nor will I ever be, since I work in a completely different area. I like tinkering with computers and XHTML, but they're nothing more than nice little hobbies for me. However, I've found webmasterworld.com to be an excellent place to learn. This is so different from all the other "web design" forums I'm visiting. It's refreshing to see a community with people who actually know what they're doing, instead of a forum full of high school kids who think a website is good if it's full of graphics, javascript and DHTML, and who post messages like "RATE MY COOL WEBSITE PLZ!"

So, thank you all for making webmasterworld.com a great place to visit! Like I said, I don't post much, but I enjoy reading your posts! :)

Thanks for your comments. As you probably saw, I haven't updated my site for some time now because my webhost is directing some non-English traffic to their ads (PORN ads!) and because I'm from Finland, I can't access my own site... duh.

I finally decided to register a domain name and actually get a paid host. Hmm... I never thought I'd actually start paying for my hobby! :)

And yes, you're right, this place is highly addictive. I try not to get addicted because I'm already very seriously addicted to another discussion forum...
