GoogleGuy's comment about 50k posts in that forum caused me to do the unusual, leave the active list and go out the the WebmasterWorld home page to take a look at the forum counts. Once there, after getting over the shock of noting several forums with, or rapidly approaching, 5-digit counts, I noticed BT had added subtotals.

Today, we're at 240,000 and change. Wow!

That is impressive! I wonder how it works out for average number of posts per member.

Those numbers represent a tremendous amount of quality information. I wonder how many hours (or years) it would take for someone to actually sit down and read it all. There must be enough to fill volumes in terms of translation into print media.
