Request for spell checker

May we have a spell checker for the posts someday?

I've wondered about that. I think it was thought of and/or mentioned at one time, but I can't remember what the outcome was.

only spell check that fits well into a forum and works well seams to be the one used on the gossamer-forum

I saw a script at hotscripts (I think) a while back that was java based. Any time there was a form field, it automatically checked your spelling.
Haven't tried it yet.

I have a shortcut for word on my desktop, then any postings I'm not sure about, which in my case is most of them, I cut and paste. Although a forum spell check would be handy this does the job fine

Those were the two options I'd worked up last year. I wasn't satisfied with them.

If forced to choice between the two I would go with the second one. ;)

I think it would be handy but not necessary. Even though I can not spell I can always open it in word to check.

I fownd [iespell.com...] in anuther forem. Installed it and it werks farely well. Honestlee :)

If you want something browser side, try Spell Check for Edit boxes. Works with all browsers.
