I am somewhat new to these forums and have rarely posted but what I saw today almost made me cry (sniff).
I used to visit another forum on search engines until last week when I was made sick by people bragging about reporting other sites to engines. I replied by saying in so many words, live and let live, and don't worry they will be gone by their own actions soon enough. What I got in return were enough flames to make AZ look like a backyard grill.
It is so nice to see such a professional attitude here, it is obvious after digging thru a few threads that the level of expertise and education is much higher.
Hats off to all of those here, you really are in a league above the rest. I hope to be able to help in these forums in the future. Until then take care and have a wonderful holiday. (if your outside the states have a great weekend)

Welcome Username (nice nick)

A forum us only as good as the members allow it be, and they are a d*mned fine bunch here - plenty of knowledge and plenty of courtesy.

I fled here from another forum over a year ago, and haven't left since.

Make sure you catch the upcoming conference

Well said. I plan on staying here also with the calibre of people and all.
I would love to go to the conference but I'm afraid that I must work, have a great time and post some pics when it's over. :)

Happy 4th of July, I lit of a firework for you (Ground Bloom Flower) I feel your pain when you see other people discussing turning in competition to search engines. Its the cheap way to play, dont know how to beat them take out their kneecap with a crowbar (olympic event - iceskating) ;)

Clever Nick Username! That's a timeless classic.

We do try to avoid all that reporting issue stuff and protect members privacy and consequentily their sites.

I've been working on a way to introduce that into our privacy policy here, but it's a sticky subject to do.
