Hey Guys,

I've been on a few other message boards and I've noticed they collect pictures of members. I believe there is a feature to post your pic in the profile but its just not the same as having a list.

What do you guys think? I'm willing to put something together if you guys are interested - I think it would be cool to place faces to the names.

I'll let you guys all in on the updates. I'm thinking (to maintain quality) we should request pictures be at least 250 X 250 pixels. Maybe we can also get a personal quote for each person as well.

Any suggestions?

I would prefer this not done. There would be copyrights and all sorts of unseen and unimagined problems for me to deal with. In fact, I think we need to remove the images altogether. There has been some abuse of that feature by a few.

I know, I liked that feature too.

Unfortunatly, I can't surf every picture. About a month ago, I found some very inappropriate images in a couple of members profiles.

Secondly, there is the issue of someone linking to images that are not theirs to link to. I've received one request to remove a members image file for linking to a copyrighted image that was not theirs to link too.

Neither of those two can happen again on purpose or by accident. Up till now, it's been a wing-and-a-prayer, but with such huge growth this spring, the days of winging it have to come to a conclusion.

Copyright could still apply. You could nick a piccy, and upload it, rather than linking to it

Thats a bummer. I really like the picture feature. Perhaps you could recruit a picture moderator Brett?

I'm not suggesting we make a post on this website. I was thinking that I could host them on another website altogether. Guys, I'm still working on it. I'll let you know as soon as I'm done.
