Profile updates not sticking

I want to re-direct email notifications

I have changed by email address for post notifications, and my profile confirms that this has happened, yet the post notifications still go to my old Yahoo address.

Can anyone offer assistance?

I am sorry if I have missed the correct place to send queries like this. I can't find a better place.

At this time, email is sent to the address used when you signed for notices (it's embedded in the post). However, if you are talking "new" post notifications, that can be updated, by unsubscribing and resubscribing.

When I post, I can tick the "email notification of replies" box.

It's this email address I'm referring to.

My profile displays the correct email address, but this is not the one used to send me follow-up post notifications.
