Email notification of my own replies

I've not been around here for long, but already I can say that this is a very good site and a nice, helpful community.

But I have one small request.

Whenever I check the "Do you want email notification of replies?" box (which is always, actually) and I myself reply to that thread later, I get an email notification of THAT reply, too. This strikes me as unnecessary, and it should be easy enough to prevent...

Ya, it's been mentioned a couple of times. I'm in the middle of a long update in that regard and resistent to changing anything to the old code that is running now until the new update is done.

One of the members had mentioned that he kept accidentally hitting preview instead of submit and hadn't actually posted those messages when he thought he had. So the extra email does serve as a confirmation of having actually posted, if that's any compensation.

I really appreciate the email notification of replies because sometimes I'll forget exactly where I posted something. Also, occasionally a reply will come a few months later with some good information.
