I typed "a" followed by a space, then a question mark but the space was swallowed.
Just curious why this happens.
<?php echo $var;?>
<?php echo $var; ?>
gosh, it's true. the space is gone.
Maybe the space-? thing would come up in PHP code, maybe also in certain Regular expressions... possibly in conditional expressions?
test? true : false
it's not a problem, I can live without the space. But - why ever would such a rule be needed or invented?
it is part of the routines that address the dreaded thread killing and rude one liner post:
So - what are all these rules? Not that I really need to know, but curiosity compels me to ask. What else is being filtered & rewritten & censored, besides swearing and spaces-before-question-marks, and names of certain other websites (like ones that rhyme with "a fist a fart")?
Or is that proprietary info you'd rather not share for fear that boneheads would post junk in here while knowlingly sidestepping all the filters? ;)
