I'm catching up on old business and in the past was kidding WW about GZIP. I noticed you had GZIP a couple months ago, but didn't follow up. Of course performance has been excellent! I had to fire up my modem at 46.6 and check it out, eeeexcccellent! I'm posting now at 46.6 and your site performance on my modem is quite good. I hit preview and it's there as if I was on my DSL connection, which is awesome. Now if only my ISP had decent DNS performance, 2,3,4 seconds frequently, it's not all the modems fault!

Time to first byte display is quite good as well.

And now of course Google is crawling GZIPped content and eating it up.

Thanks - I think it helps. We are not using mod Gzip however - using mod deflate ;-)
