I typed the three letter acronym in a post message and viola "WebmasterWorld" appears in its place. I guess that's cool but why?

The same acronym belongs to several other entities - some pre-existing. So we don't want to use the obvious acronym anywhere. This way our full name always gets spelled out, saving all kinds of grief.
