Cannot register under new user name?

I'd like to join the Supporter's Forum, but I no longer want to use my current username. I suppose the IP is mapped to my current username?

It's a stupid name I picked and it doesn't reflect my current business.

So, how can I go about registering another name with success?

Obviously, I just tried to register under another user name, but when I clicked the link via e-mail to validate- the software logged me in under this user name. :(

I'll bet you have to delete the WebmasterWorld cookie.

Go to the Control Panel:

[webmasterworld.com...]

At the bottom, click the link " Signout, I'm outta here."

Then you can create your new user name and subscribe with that. :)
